Exceptional care only happens in an environment where there is collaboration, coordination and cooperation. This workshop focuses on crating teams that work well with one another in order to provide better service to their patients.

We start with a hypothetical vision. Imagine a healthcare organization without boundaries or borders. There would be no department or division designations. Everyone is here to serve the patient. How would care be provided in such an environment?

Joint Commission's vision of seamless care is one where care is provided smoothly along a continuum in which the patients [and family] do not feel the hand-off points from one department to another or from one caregiver to another.

This session is designed for executives, managers and front line supervisors, since they all play an intricate role in creating collaboration.
